"The Warehouse at ShapeShift is broken up into 4 sections. We have a dedicated Pilates area, private treatment rooms for Physiotherapy and massage. Our fully equipped gym area is split into 2 sections, one dedicated space for our private 1 on 1 personal training and the second for all of our group fitness classes. Allowing us to run both simultaneously without any disruption or fighting for equipment and space. Our final section is our wellness space, offering an Infrared Sauna and showers. We believe in providing our clients with a private space where they can feel confident working towards their health and wellness goals. We are not a gym! We don't offer standalone gym memberships, so there's no need to worry about competing with packed floor spaces or waiting around for equipment. Elise is an experienced APA Titled Physiotherapist, completing her Bachelor in Applied Science and Master in Physiotherapy at LaTrobe University. Elise has a special interest in sporting-related injuries and has worked in private practise for a number of years, as well as with a variety of sporting teams. She was the Head Physiotherapist for the Collegians FC in the Womens AFL VAFA league for over 3 years and also worked with StKevins and MLC Rowing Clubs. Elise has an extensive background in the sport of rowing and has represented Australia at the World Championships in 2014, 2017, 2018 in Germany, Bulgaria and Poland. With an understanding of high performance, Elise is able to rehabilitate, strengthen and manage all body types to achieve their optimal performance and goals. Alongside her work in private practise, Elise has over 3 years working with the NDIS and Aged-care sectors. Elise’s all-rounded skills enables her to work with all ages and body types. Elise enjoys empowering her clients utilising an active rehabilitative approach to help them manage and prevent musculoskeletal conditions.
Kate is an accredited Exercise and sports scientist and an APPI trained pilates instructor. Kate has a keen interest in corrective exercise, injury prevention and has a passion for women’s health. Kate likes to use a holistic approach to exercise and utilises manual therapy to maximise your functionality and ability to train effectively which allows you to achieve your physical fitness goals. She has extensive experience working in rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, elite sports as well as pre and post natal training.
Matthew has worked within the Melbourne personal trainer industry for over 10 years. He has always been passionate about his own training and physical activity, especially sports, in particular, Aussie Rules Football. Having played at a high level of football for over 10 years, including 5 years being a part of the Collingwood Football Club VFL team, it was a natural progression to want to help other people with their health and fitness journey. He has been lucky enough through this time to have been able to learn from a variety of different elite coaches and trainers. Through his time as a fitness expert, he has been trained in corrective exercise, massage, injury prevention and rehabilitation, which he has been able to blend in with his own knowledge of strength and conditioning to have a holistic approach to all of his clients to help them achieve their desired results. Matthew strives to continue to learn and develop his skill set so that he is able to continually provide top level health and fitness coaching in Melbourne, to anybody that is looking to take the next step in their own health and fitness journey.
Brayden is a passionate young personal trainer who gained a love for health and fitness through 7 years as a professional athlete at the Collingwood Football Club. Brayden has implemented his knowledge of elite training programs and moulded them into his own unique style of training which enables him to get the maximum out of every single session he does. Brayden has a particular interest in effective power, speed and hypertrophy training. Brayden strives for specificity and loves to see his clients goals met with that being his number 1 priority.
