Kate completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Otago in 2001, before working in clinics in London, New Zealand, and Australia. She has spent the majority of her time in private practice clinics, focusing on musculoskeletal injuries, rehabilitation, and ergonomics. Whilst in New Zealand Kate worked with a number of sports teams, enjoying the challenges of rehabilitation in all levels of athletes. In 2011 Kate completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine. She is trained in dry needling and Clinical Pilates (matwork and equipment) and occupational health. Kate likes to use her hands-on skills in conjunction with her knowledge of rehabilitation to ensure her patients are returned to their pre-injury level. Kate enjoys working with all age groups. When not at work, Kate enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and their dog. They enjoy an active lifestyle that includes walking, cycling, the beach, and a variety of sports that she both coaches and plays.
