Sam has a keen interest in the areas of Pelvic Health and Continence, Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Exercise Rehabilitation. She is currently completing her Master’s in Pelvic Health and Continence and has an interest in managing symptoms arising in the Post-Menopausal period, Urinary and/or Bowel Incontinence, Overactive Bladder Syndrome, Pelvic Floor assessments in the pregnancy and post-partum period including return to exercise and sport, Pelvic Pain and more. After completing her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Curtin University, Sam dove straight into musculoskeletal physiotherapy and has a range of experience in overuse injury, sports rehabilitation, cervicogenic headaches, and age-related aches and pains. She has also completed further training in Clinical Pilates and Dry Needling. Sam firmly believes in delivering person-centred care. Through her practice, she works to deliver the best possible outcomes by educating and empowering clients to be active participants in their own recovery and health management, whilst utilising a combination of manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation. Sam also has a knowledge of specific health factors impacting gender diverse and queer communities and has a keen interest in ensuring a high-quality of care for all people. When she is not working, Sam enjoys playing football, taking her kelpie on adventures, and spending time exploring the outdoors with her partner. Samantha works from our Bicton Physio Practice.

Hena Khant completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Curtin University in 2016. She started her career working as a physiotherapist in the Private hospital setting and Aged Care, with particular focus in acute and sub-acute rehabilitation, post-operative management of various orthopaedic, cardio-thoracic surgical procedures and inpatient post-natal services. Hena shifted her focus to private practice as her interest in continence physiotherapy and women’s health progressed whilst working in the Women’s Health Ward at SJOG Murdoch Hospital. She is passionate about providing holistic, patient-centred and evidence-based physiotherapy assessment and treatment. Hena strives to provide each of her client’s with a holistic treatment plan to effectively manage their presenting conditions and empowers them with the knowledge and skills to take charge of their own rehabilitation. Hena is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and has completed the APA Dry Needling course, Clinical Pilates, Laser Safety Course and is currently completing the APA Women’s Health Physiotherapy series. Outside of work you will find Hena spending time with her friends and family, trying new things like rock climbing and stand-up paddle boarding, and her new favourite interest - hiking. She wishes to be able to read more books, aspires to travel and explore the world at some point in her life.

Yi Hang

Yi Hang (Frank) Chan graduated from Curtin University as a physiotherapist. He has various clinical experience in a wide range of settings such as tertiary hospital, musculoskeletal outpatient clinic, and primary school in the community. Also, he worked as a sport trainer for rugby teams in Cockburn to gain experience in managing sport-related injuries. These experiences have shaped Frank into a passionate physiotherapist who is confident in treating different population, from children to elderly. He is interested in treating musculoskeletal injuries and surgical rehabilitation the most. Frank has completed his further study with Dry Needling and Clinical Pilates, which he incorporates those into his intervention. Frank loves playing badminton and exploring all different sports. He used to be windsurfing regularly when he was in Hong Kong.
