Deb, a graduate from the University of Melbourne, brings 12 years of private practice experience and Clinical Pilates-based exercises and rehabilitation to the team. She also has experience working overseas as she lived in London for two years and worked closely with elite dancers to meet their travel and performance requirements. She has worked with Aged Care facilities in developing a care and treatment program for residents in the past and is adept at helping her clients manage their pain. Deb has a keen interest for back and neck injuries as she has suffered from them herself. She understands her client from a pain perspective and works hard to ensure that her clients’ needs are met and they achieve the best outcome from treatment. She believes in educating her clients about their injuries and how to successfully manage them with a long-term view of improving function to the best they can be. Deb has a special passion for dancers and sports-related injury recovery and rehabilitation. As she is a Latin dancer and a dance coach herself, she understands the need to have specific strength and flexibility in all types of sport. As her dance career has taken her all over Europe and Asia, she understands the need to keep fit while on the go especially when there is pain involved. Outside work, Deb enjoys the training regime required to be on top of her game for competitions and international performances. On the occasion she spends time away from the dance studio, she enjoys photography and indulging in a good book by the beach.
Originally from India, Gaurav completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy in Mumbai. After gaining experience across various sporting assignments, he made a move to pursue his Masters of Physiotherapy(Sports) from the University of South Australia in 2016. His interest lies in lower extremity soft tissue injuries. He has hands-on experience in treating elite and amateur athletes that helped him gain a wealth of experience over the years. He has worked with major Indian sports leagues as their preferred Physiotherapist. Along with his work with team sports, he also provided his services to athletes who represented India at various international competitions. Gaurav provided his expertise in sports such as football, boxing, wrestling, kabaddi, tennis and cricket from weekend warriors to Olympic athletes. Along with his wife, Gaurav thrived in private practice to create meaningful relations in society. Gaurav is also involved in educational activities for physiotherapists and other health professionals. Gaurav strongly believes in the principle that MOVEMENT is MEDICINE and guides patients to actively achieve their physical best. Beyond his professional life, Gaurav enjoys having his friends over and cooking for them.

Mirna completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia. She has a strong interest in Pilates as well as treating various musculoskeletal conditions such as lower back pain and headaches. She is also a GLA:D© certified physiotherapist, which involves the management of hip and knee osteoarthritis. Mirna has a great passion for helping clients get back to the lifestyle and activities they really love. Her favourite part of the job is seeing her clients do the things they thought they would never be able to do. Mirna’s compassionate approach allows her to have good rapport with her clients and assist them achieve their long-term health goals. Maurice Fearenside has been practicing as a physiotherapist since 2019. He prides himself in good communication and providing tailored management to work towards his client's goals. Maurice has a special interest in managing chronic pain and disability rehabilitation. He has lots of experiences working with different populations and conditions. Maurice enjoys facilitating self-management by educating and prescribing rehabilitation exercises as well as providing manual therapy. He uses various modalities to assist his clients such as hydrotherapy, dry needling, neural and spinal mobilisations, pilates, exercise prescription and various manual therapies. Amy graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland in 2022. Since graduating she has gained over 2 years experience working in private practice and hospital settings. Growing up as an international gymnast, Amy had her fair share of sporting injuries and saw first hand the role a physio plays in not only the rehabilitation of these injuries but also in supporting athletes through difficult times. Her gymnastics career alongside her interest in human anatomy and physiology sparked an interest in becoming a physio. She began her career working as a rotational physiotherapist in a large acute hospital and worked with stroke, oncology, respiratory and musculoskeletal clients. She also worked in a Women’s and Men’s health and continence private practice for two years. Amy’s treatment philosophy is centred around restoring movement, function and quality of life in clients and focuses on empowering her clients to manage their condition and achieve their goals. She enjoys staying up to date with the latest research and so she can incorporate evidence-based practices in her treatment with clients. Amy’s areas of interest include; Women’s Health (Continence, Prolapse, Pregnancy and Post-Partum), Men’s Health (Prehabilitation and Rehabilitation in Prostate Cancer), Pelvic floor Assessment, Acute Rehab, Orthopaedic Rehabilitation post surgery. Fun Fact: She grew up in the West of Ireland and moved to Adelaide earlier this year!
Jessica graduated from the University of Otago in New Zealand in 2015 and has gained over 9 years experience working in a variety of roles including private practice, hospital and community paediatrics. Jessica wanted to help people with their return to health and baseline function. Physiotherapy has allowed her to walk alongside people seeking wellness (whaiora) on their health journey while being able to spend quality time with them. Jessica has a holistic approach to physiotherapy and likes to integrate traditional Chinese and traditional Māori healing philosophies into her work. Her aim is to help empower people through using a hands-on, collaborative approach, education and understanding. She is a big believer that wellness is more than just looking at the physical body. Jessica’s areas of interest are; Musculoskeletal, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Women’s Health, Pilates/Physio Exercise Classes. Outside of work, she enjoys connecting with nature and going on adventures with her parents’ two golden retrievers. She is also excited to explore and learn more about Kaurna Country. Chloe completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia in 2019. Throughout her studies she was able to go on placement at the university of the Philippines in Manila, and gain experience working with children for an elective subject in Nepal. Chloe wasn’t sure what direction to take after school, but as someone that was always interested in the body, health, movement and understanding people, combining these to help people appealed to her. After just the first week of her physiotherapy degree, she knew it was the perfect fit and hasn’t looked back. Chloe always strives to achieve outcomes with her clients that enable them to live their fullest, most functional life. She believes that knowledge is power and prioritises understanding the client’s condition or injury so that she can help and empower them to reach their goals. Chloe’s areas of interest are; Vestibular physiotherapy, TMJ/jaw pain, Musculoskeletal conditions/injuries, Pilates based exercise. Outside of work, you can find Chloe at the gym, the beach and spending time with friends. She wouldn’t say no to a camping trip either! Fun Fact: Chloe loves music and plays the violin, electric bass and is learning to play the ukulele!
At Salisbury, CCDH & NECH. Mark is the owner and Managing Director of Ducker Physio. He qualified in 1988 from the University of South Australia. He also worked in the public sector to consolidate his skills at the Repatriation General Hospital at Daw Park, South Australia. He then entered the private sector working for various private physiotherapy firms for 4 years before commencing the business that we know today. He has a keen interest in sport following careers in both football and cricket. He played league football for the Norwood Football Club from 1986-1994 as well as district cricket for the Prospect Cricket Club in A and B grade level. As a result, he has a keen interest in treating sporting injuries as well as spinal, orthopaedic and musculo-skeletal problems.
Rajdeep Kaur completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2018, worked in Private Practice in India. By mid-2019, Rajdeep came to Australia and worked initially with soccer and football clubs. Rajdeep enjoys meeting and developing a rapport with clients from all walks of life. She has special interests with treating all musculoskeletal injuries and all sports-related injuries. Rajdeep is passionate about achieving great outcomes for her clients using a wide range of treatment techniques including manual therapy, exercise-based rehabilitation, and taping. In her spare time, Rajdeep loves travelling and catching up with friends and family. She is fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.
Chris graduated from the University of SA in 2003. He initially spent three years in London working in Outpatient Departments in NHS hospitals. He commenced with Ducker Physio in March 2008. His areas of interest include treatment of musculoskeletal problems as well as neck, back and sporting injuries. He is also known for his expert skills in Dry Needling. Personally, he enjoys most sports including Australian Rules football, cricket, skiing and running.
Anuja completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in India 2012 and her Master of Physiotherapy in Rehabilitation in 2016, and spent some years working in their various private hospital and outpatient settings. Anuja has worked the last 12 months in another South Australian Private Practice. She has special interests in musculoskeletal injuries and orthopaedic post surgical rehabilitation along with geriatric rehabilitation and Women’s Health. She enjoys and finds it very rewarding to see her patients recover from their pain or injuries and resume their normal daily functioning. She believes in using evidence-based techniques such as manual therapy and dry needling in combination with exercise prescription to develop rehabilitation programs. Working with her patients to develop plans to achieve day to day individual goals and guiding her clients towards full recovery. Anuja is fluent with English, Hindi & Gujarati. Outside of work she loves to cook different cuisine, being physically active and has special interest in meditation and yoga.
Penny completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2011 in India, and spent three years working in their various private hospital and outpatient settings. She then obtained another Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand in 2019. She spent another two years in New Zealand working in Private Practice treating a wide variety of conditions using a wide spectrum of physiotherapy skills including hands-on manual techniques, massage, dry needling, cupping management, occupational health, workcover/vehicle accidents, sporting injuries as well as chronic pain management. Penny has worked with all ages from paediatrics to school children to the adult population and elderly care. She uses Mulligan Techniques, movement assessment and hands on treatment for injury prevention, education and rehabilitation. Her interests are with injury prevention, biomechanics, occupational health, breathing performance and rehabilitation. She has now decided to live in Australia with her young family to continue her physiotherapy career of 11 years. Penny is fluent in English and Hindi.
Ann completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia in 2005. She has worked across several areas including Private Practice and Aged Care but gained most of her experience working in the public sector at the Modbury Hospital. In her 10 years there, she obtained a high level of experience and exceptional skills in both the inpatient and the outpatient setting by professionally associating/exchanging knowledge and skills with all levels of the medical and the allied health professions. She has recently joined the team at Ducker Physio in 2017 working at Calvary Central Districts Hospital as well as the Private Practice rooms at Salisbury. Her professional interests lie in the areas of orthopaedics, musculoskeletal and spinal conditions. She endeavours to be always patient focussed and to always provide high-quality hands-on treatment, education and exercise-based therapy to empower the patient to regain control of their condition.
Doris completed her Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy in 1982. She has worked in the public and private health care systems and gained valuable experience in various physiotherapy areas.
Nicola graduated from the University of South Australia in 2022 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) and is passionate about musculoskeletal physiotherapy and injury prevention.
Trish established Burnside Physiotherapy in 1999. She focuses on manual therapy, exercise therapy, and patient education, aiming to empower clients.
Andy Keith has been an integral part of our team for the past six years, consistently demonstrating dedication to our patients’ well-being. He has recently completed a Master of Clinical Rehabilitation (Neurological Physiotherapy) at Flinders University, equipping him with the knowledge and skills required to address the unique needs of patients with neurological conditions.
Vlad brings with him an empathetic ear, incredible knowledge of how the body works, and a particular interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation. Neck injuries are a keen interest of Vlad’s, and he looks to expand his knowledge of them.
Susan has completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) from the University of Melbourne, Australia. She has experience in Dean Watson Headaches, Vertigo, GEMt Dry needling Level 1-3, K-taping Level 1-2, McKenzie Level 1-2, Real Time Ultrasound, Acupuncture Level 1 certified by APA, Integrated Dry Needling Level 1-2, Muscle Energy Technique, Manipulation, Explain Pain, Mulligan Technique, and Polestar Pilates Accreditation.
Charlie is the newest member of the team, joining in January 2022. He completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours at the University of South Australia. He has an interest in sports injuries and hydrotherapy.
Andrew is the newest member of the Core Physio Gawler Place team. Andrew graduated from the Uni Of SA with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy last year and joined our team in late January. Andrew enjoys seeing a wide variety of patients, but he has a specific interest in patients with sporting injuries. When Andrew isn’t at work he enjoys going to the gym, hanging out with his friends, and watching all kinds of sports.
Stef is our newest physiotherapist in the Core Physioteam, joining us in January 2022. She completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours at the University of South Australia. She treats a wide range of conditions, with a special interest in sports injuries and helping people get back to moving.
Tim is a Physiotherapist at the Core Physio Morphett Vale practice. He has a background in Medical Science and completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy in Canberra. He has experience working with the Canberra Brumbies team members and has a strong focus on lower limb injuries.
Michael Zoumaras has an extensive background in occupational rehabilitation as a treating physiotherapist and rehabilitation case manager, as well as specific occupational assessments such as Pre-Employment Functional, Fit For Work, and Functional Capacity Evaluation assessments. This experience has equipped him with the knowledge and nous to function as Altaira’s dedicated Return to Work Coordinator. This role involves Michael assisting with management of worker’s compensation claims for injured employees, specifically promoting worker safety and an early, safe, and sustainable return to work.
As a Physiotherapist at Kieser you will be working with a diverse range of clientele including musculoskeletal and sporting patient groups and with an engrained referral network of local doctors and orthopaedic surgeons. You will be treating a 90% privately paying client caseload including athletes and will have access to state of the art rehab equipment and diagnostics.
